The St-Lazare community is lucky to have a local SPCA.
It is so important to support local causes and businesses that support them. Buying local, keeps businesses and organizations open and involved in things that matter to all of us. Charity begins at home as they say so please, drop in for a visit. Use their services and if you can't afford a donation, shop or volunteer. Be sure to Follow them on Facebook.
r visit their Website and learn more about this No Kill shelter and all the great work they have done since 2013.
Almost a year ago, my family lost our beloved Boo. We were fortunate to have him in our lives for close to 17 years. A good boy. A best friend.. The loss was big and it took awhile to understand that moving forward was the way to honor him.
About 2 weeks ago, my son sent a picture of a pooch from the SPCA Ouest's Facebook posting that morning. Hazel was available for adoption. Something nudged me to tell my husband "Go see her. I trust you will carefully and pragmatically assess the puppy and situation".
Off he went and I knew that he wasn't coming home alone.
We welcomed Hazel into our family. There are moments(but very few) where hubby and I look at each other and say "Are we crazy?".
The answer... yes! crazy in love with our new family member.
Thank YOU SPCA Ouest!
